“The facts (on this scandal) are too clear. There should be no more debates,” he said when asked to respond to calls by several Pakatan Harapan senators and an MP for a special parliamentary sitting.
He was speaking to reporters after chairing a Penang, Kedah and Perlis PKR leadership council meeting here this evening.

Two days ago, Lim Hui Ying, Fadhlina Sidek and A Kesavadas Nair called for a special parliamentary session to be held to debate the matter. Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim of DAP also made a similar call.
The parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC) last week revealed that not a single ship had been completed although Putrajaya had spent RM6 billion on the project, which was given to Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (BNS) through direct negotiations.
Earlier today, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) said that it had submitted investigation papers to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) and proposed that several individuals should be charged in connection with the LCS project.
On a separate issue, Anwar announced that PKR’s vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar would be leading the party’s election machinery in Penang, Kedah and Perlis until GE15.
Her appointment is in line with the party’s policy for its deputy president and vice-presidents to take charge of the election machinery in the Peninsula states.
Anwar also said the party had identified candidates to stand in seats currently occupied by former PKR representatives who had since defected to Bersatu.
However, their names have yet to be submitted to the Central Leadership Council.
Nibong Tebal MP Mansor Othman, Seberang Jaya assemblyman Dr Afif Bahardin, and Sungai Acheh assemblyman Zulkifli Ibrahim defected to Bersatu after the Sheraton Move in February 2020.
