The Kinabatangan MP said PBS needed to stop stirring up the hornet’s nest as both Umno and BN were not defenceless.
“I want to warn the PBS president, don’t play with fire. Friends respect one another. Umno and BN have never betrayed their friends,” said Bung at an event.
The Sabah deputy chief minister added that both Umno and BN were not defenceless but strong, and Ongkili would be at the losing end if he continued with his accusations.
Bung claimed PBS had done many things “to destroy Sabah” that have yet to be revealed.
This outburst came after Ongkili, on Thursday, claimed that a BN component party had given identity cards (ICs) to undocumented migrants in exchange for their votes.
However, the Sabah and Sarawak affairs minister did not name the party or mention when this was allegedly done.
He instead said the party’s involvement in using undocumented migrants for its own political interests had been proven by the royal commission of inquiry (RCI) on illegal immigrants in Sabah formed under the Najib Razak administration.
Ongkili also said the previous BN government had failed to solve the problem of undocumented migrants in the state, accusing it of being nonchalant about its repercussions.
