JOHOR BAHRU:
The customer is always king, deputy domestic trade and consumer affairs minister Rosol Wahid has reminded restaurant owners after a video clip of an angry outburst against a customer.

Rosol said business owners should be patient or tolerant towards customers to prevent any misunderstanding.

“As a trader, you must have certain ethics. You must have patience for whatever the customer does,” he said.

Yesterday, Melaka executive councillor Ngwe Hee Sem also visited the restaurant shown in the video clip and gave the owner some advice.

Deputy domestic trade and consumer affairs minister Rosol Wahid and Melaka executive councillor Ngwe Hee Sem advised restaurant owners to handle their customers properly.

He said although some Malaccans are known for their caustic language, it doesn’t justify tarnishing the state’s reputation.
