
He said the state government has fulfilled 54 out of the 68 pledges, while 12 are in progress and another two will not be implemented as they overlapped with projects by the federal government.
“Examining the achievements that are carved together, it is surely the result of our dedication in fighting for the mandate, support and trust of the people of Penang as a whole,” he said.
He added that such an achievement will also increase the confidence that the people of Penang have in the state government.
“We will continue our efforts and commitment to realise the remaining 10%.
“I am very confident that we will be able to do it as we have managed to overcome the challenges of the pandemic to help and fight for the welfare of the people,” he said.
Chow added that the state is committed to implementing all of the projects it promised before its term is up.
“We will continue to move as a strong team to uphold the Penang we love,” he said, referring to the PH MPs, assemblymen and state executive councillors.
There were 11 main themes under the GE14 manifesto. They include the Competency, Accountability and Transparency (CAT) administration, housing for all, entrepreneurship, and education and skills development.
