PETALING JAYA: Fifteen areas in Kuala Lumpur face unscheduled water supply disruption after a pipe burst in Taman Pertama in Ulu Klang this morning.
In a statement, Air Selangor said it had started emergency repair work on the pipe at 11.30am today.
“The emergency repairs will cause an unscheduled water supply disruption in 15 areas in the Kuala Lumpur region,” it said.
It expects the repairs to be completed by 9.30pm today, after which the water supply will be restored in stages.
According to Air Selangor, water tankers will be mobilised to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises.
The affected areas are Bukit Permai Industri, Kampung Cheras Baru, Pandan Bistari, Taman Bukit Pandan, Taman Bukit Permai, Taman Bukit Teratai, Taman Mawar, Taman Mega Jaya, Taman Melur, Taman Mestika, Taman Muda, Taman Pandan Mewah, Taman Putra, Taman Saga and Taman Seraya.
