
PETALING JAYA: The health ministry reported 34 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, according to its GitHub database. Twelve of them were classified as brought-in-dead (BID) cases.
The death toll now stands at 32,310
Johor topped the list with eight followed by Sabah (7), Selangor (5), Melaka (4), Perak (2), Kedah (2), Negeri Sembilan (2), Penang (1), Kelantan (1), Sarawak (1) and Terengganu (1).
There were no deaths in the other states and the federal territories.
As of midnight, there were 243,342 active cases, including 238 in intensive care units (ICU), 130 of whom require respiratory assistance.
There were also 18,514 recoveries.
The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia stands at 3,166,023.
