
However, he said there was still “a lot of room” for improvement.
In fact, Chow joked that all his state executive councillors had “bungalows”, as opposed to “room” for improvement.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a report card outlining Penang’s progress in the past three years, he said his executive council members must work hard and review all proposed projects from time to time.
He said the report card and the projects by the state government would be displayed online as a dashboard for all to scrutinise.
“This dashboard is a mechanism for us to monitor and improve some of the projects proposed. As long as they are listed there, we will pursue them. And if need be, they will be reviewed.”
Chow said the state would continue pursuing its 2030 agenda by placing emphasis on the manufacturing and service industries.
