PETALING JAYA:
Umno will hold its 2021 annual general assembly over four days from March 16-19, the party’s Supreme Council announced today.

The women’s, youth and puteri wings would hold their meetings from March 16-17, followed by the Umno general assembly from March 18-19.

Fourteen delegates from each division would be invited to attend physically, as the event won’t be held in a hybrid manner.

“Nevertheless, the SOPs will still be met in terms of physical distancing, face masks, use of MySejahtera app, sanitisers, and so on,” Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan said in a statement.

The party had intended to hold the general assembly in January, but decided to postpone it in light of the floods that hit parts of the country.
