Raub district police chief Kama Azural Mohamed said the incident was reported at 9am after the man and his wife had joined a convoy of 30 people from Johor to Jerantut, Pahang on Friday, before moving to Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur via Fraser’s Hill.
“The victim’s wife who was the pillion rider claimed she heard a loud bang in front of her and saw the victim fall, causing their motorcycle to skid.
“Preliminary police investigations showed that the victim was bleeding on the face and there were cracks on his helmet,” he said in a statement here today.
Kama Azural said the autopsy confirmed the death was due to bleeding in the brain with a cracked skull.
The victim’s wife was not injured in the incident.
