Wife of Alleycats’ lead singer David Arumugam dies

Sabrina Clyde passed away this morning after battling cancer for the past four years.

PETALING JAYA:
After battling cancer for four years, Sabrina Clyde, 65, wife of Alleycats’ singer David Arumugam died today.

Yayasan Kebajikan Artis Tanah Air chairman DJ Dave confirmed the news, saying he was informed by the singer today, Berita Harian reported.

“I received a phone call from David this morning informing me that his wife had passed away at about 6am.

“As far as I know, his wife has been suffering from cancer for the past four years,” he was quoted as saying by the Malay daily.

According to Berita Harian, the famed “Seribu Bintang” singer, aged 71, was unable to comment as he was busy making arrangements for his wife’s funeral.

In 2007, David lost his brother, Loganathan Arumugam, who was also a member of Alleycats, to lung cancer.
