Bersatu members approve setting up of Srikandi Muda wing

Nine amendments to the party constitution were approved, most of them to enable setting up the wing.

KUALA LUMPUR:
Bersatu members have approved the establishment of a Srikandi Muda wing for young women at its annual general assembly today.

The members approved nine amendments to the party constitution, which were passed unanimously without debate.

Srikandi deputy chief Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said most of the amendments are related to the establishment of Srikandi Muda.

Among the amendments was one to allow the central Srikandi Muda chief to appoint the state Srikandi Muda vice chief as a member of the state leadership body.

The assembly also approved a motion to abolish the member registration fee of RM4.
