Military personnel, spouses cast early votes in Sarawak polls

KUCHING:
Army chief Zamrose Mohd Zain and his wife, Zainuriah Mustapha, cast their early votes in the 12th Sarawak state elections at the Muara Tuang Camp multipurpose hall polling centre here today.

Others who voted included First Infantry Division commander Dzulkafli Mustaffa and his wife, Norziati Othman.

A total of 2,321 military personnel and spouses were expected to cast their early votes in the five polling streams at the camp from 8am to 5pm.

In total, 12,585 military personnel and spouses will cast their early votes at 16 polling centres throughout Sarawak involving 11 state constituencies.

The public will cast their votes on Dec 18.
