PETALING JAYA:
Residents in 13 areas around Kuala Lumpur can expect disruptions to their water supply beginning today due to a burst pipe along the Middle Ring Road 2.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) corporate communications head Elina Baseri said in a statement that it had suspended water supply to the affected areas since 11.30am to allow for emergency repairs to proceed.

“The repair work is expected to be completed by 11.30am tomorrow. Consumers will  receive water supply in stages once the repairs are done,” she said.

“Air Selangor will be mobilising water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres as well as funeral parlours.

“Consumers are required to adhere to physical distancing and to wear a face mask at all times while collecting water supply from the water tankers.”
