PUTRAJAYA:
The Public Service Department (JPA) today launched a five-year plan with four thrusts as a strategic direction to improve the civil service.

JPA director-general Mohd Khairul Adib Abd Rahman said the Human Resource Psychology Service Strategic Plan 2021-2025 will feature four key points, such as strengthening governance and service regulation, and comprehensive and effective service delivery.

The plan will also focus on empowering human capital well-being, strengthening values and building an excellent organisational culture.

“The focus areas and strategic thrusts outlined are expected to help organisations and civil servants … in providing the best service to the public,” he said at the launch of the 25th Public Service Psychology Conference held virtually here today.

In his speech, Khairul also reminded civil servants to complete their Covid-19 vaccination before Nov 1.

“This is to give confidence and assurance to the public and ensure the smooth delivery of public services as it returns to normal operations in accordance with the current phase of the national recovery plan,” he said.

On Sept 30, JPA made it mandatory for federal civil servants to get vaccinated against Covid-19 which must be completed by Nov 1 or risk disciplinary action or termination of service.
