One Sabah village in lockdown, 7 others get all clear

The EMCO at three localities in Sabah and two each in Kelantan and Pahang will be lifted tomorrow.

The EMCO in Kampung Baambangan, in Telupid, will begin on Sept 27.
PETALING JAYA:
A village in Sabah will be placed under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) following a spike in Covid-19 infections.

The two week EMCO in Kampung Baambangan, in Telupid, will begin on Sept 27, the National Security Council (MKN) said in a statement.

A lockdown at three localities in Sabah and two each in Kelantan and Pahang will be lifted tomorrow.

The areas are: Sabah – Taman Semarak Megah, Tawau; Perumahan IOI Plantations Unico Oil Mill Sdn Bhd, Lahad Datu; Kampung Dumoing Bawah, Ranau; Pahang – Ladang Insanjaya and Ladang Darabif in Pekan; Kelantan – Kampung Bendang Pak Yong and Kampung Simpangan, both in Tumpat.
