In a Twitter post today, the JKJAV said 36,431,562 vaccine doses have been administered, with 20,543,016 individuals given at least their first dose.

This includes those who received the single-dose CanSino Covid-19 vaccine.

Meanwhile, 289,958 vaccine doses were administered yesterday, of which 153,841 were second doses.

In terms of the total population, 62.9% have been given at least one dose of the vaccine while 48.8% have been fully vaccinated. Also, 87.8% of adults have been given at least one dose.

While vaccinations of adults in the Klang Valley and Labuan have exceeded 100%, the immunisation rates of the adult population in Kelantan and Sabah were the lowest at 68.8% and 62.4%, respectively.

The vaccination rates in the Klang Valley and Labuan exceeded 100% as the statistics department’s population statistics had not been updated since the last census. It also did not take into account undocumented migrants.
