Water supply back in 26% of 463 areas in Klang Valley hit by cuts

However, Air Selangor says all affected areas in Petaling and Kuala Langat are still facing water cuts.

Air Selangor says alternative water supply will continue to be mobilised to affected consumers.
PETALING JAYA:
Water supply has been restored to 26% of the 463 areas affected by water cuts after an odour pollution incident in Sungai Semenyih yesterday.

In a statement, Air Selangor said 61.1% of the areas affected in Hulu Langat, 43.3% in Sepang and 17.4% in Putrajaya have had their water supply restored.

However, all affected areas in Petaling and Kuala Langat are still experiencing a disruption to their water supply.

According to Air Selangor, the water supply to all affected areas is expected to be fully restored before Friday.

Alternative water supply will continue to be mobilised to affected consumers, it added.

Consumers have been advised to check Air Selangor’s mobile application, their website and social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, for updates.
