
A source close to the former Beaufort MP said Lajim was “placed under induced coma” at about 2pm earlier today.
“Lajim was admitted to the KPJ hospital on Aug 13 after he tested positive for Covid-19,” the source told FMT on condition of anonymity.
“On Aug 12, he attended a programme by the chief minister before he was said to have fallen ill. He subsequently tested positive for Covid-19 the same day.”
The 66-year-old Lajim, who is the Sabah Bersatu election and strategy director, was also previously a Klias assemblyman besides holding several Cabinet positions at federal and state levels during former Barisan Nasional administrations.
