PETALING JAYA:
The 10km travel limit has been lifted for fully vaccinated individuals in areas under Phase 1 of the national recovery plan (NRP).

However, inter-district and interstate travel remains banned according to the latest SOPs released by the National Security Council (MKN) yesterday.

The updated SOPs also state that fully vaccinated individuals can now travel according to the full capacity of their vehicle — as opposed to the previous two-person rule.

Individuals are considered to be fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca and Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines, or 28 days after receiving single-dose vaccines such as Johnson & Johnson and CanSino.

Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Kedah are under Phase 1 of the NRP.

The latest SOPs come after the government reopened 11 economic sectors for fully vaccinated individuals in states under Phase 1, with hairdressers and electrical shops among those allowed to resume operations.

The government also allowed dine-in, and weekly and night markets for fully vaccinated individuals in Phase 1 states starting from yesterday.

Also allowed are outdoor individual sports and recreational activities, including jogging, tai chi, exercise, cycling, fishing, equestrian events, skateboarding, archery, hiking, tennis and badminton (singles), and golf.
