28.3mil doses administered, 34% of population fully vaccinated

Committee says 17,252,314 individuals have received their first dose and 11,060,317 their second dose.

A total of 501,776 vaccine doses were administered yesterday.
KUALA LUMPUR:
A total of 28,312,631 Covid-19 doses have been administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of yesterday.

The Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) said 17,252,314 individuals have received their first dose and 11,060,317 their second dose.

In a tweet, it said 52.8% of the country’s population has received the first dose while 33.9% are fully vaccinated.

The committee said 501,776 doses were administered yesterday, with 175,874 being the first dose and 325,902 the second dose.
