Ten vaccination centres in the Klang Valley will accept walk-ins from Aug 2 to 22, beginning with the over-40s.

Malaysians in the Klang Valley can walk in for vaccinations in stages beginning on Monday.
PETALING JAYA:
Walk-in vaccinations for Klang Valley residents will be available from 2pm on Monday until Aug 22 at selected vaccination centres.

Vaccinations will be conducted in three stages at the centres listed below:

  • Aug 2 to Aug 4 – Malaysian citizens aged 40 years and above, or people with comorbidities;
  • Aug 5 to Aug 8 – Malaysians aged 18 and above;
  • Aug 9 to Aug 11 – Foreigners aged 40 and above, or with comorbidities;
  • Aug 12 to Aug 22 – Open to everyone aged 18 and above.

Vaccinations will be on a first-come-first-serve basis, said the special committee on vaccine supply.

Vaccine recipients must bring along proof of their address in the Klang Valley, such as identity cards, driving licences, utility or credit card bills and employment or student cards.

People with comorbidities must bring a letter from their doctor, or any relevant document that states their health condition or history.

The committee said walk-in vaccinations via the government’s outreach programme will begin from Aug 9. This would involve non-governmental organisations, mobile vaccination teams and other relevant agencies. Details of the programme will be announced later, it said.
