PETALING JAYA:
The police have summoned graphic designer and activist Fahmi Reza over a poster by him that is allegedly linked to PAS.

Fahmi is expected to record his statement at the Sentul district police headquarters (IPD) at 12pm tomorrow.

In a tweet, Fahmi said he was just informed that the police had opened another investigation paper on him.

“This is the 7th time I’m being investigated by the police under #AktaSakitHati (Communications and Multimedia Act 1998) because of my satirical graphics this year,” he said.

“See you tomorrow, @PDRMsia.”

Last month, Fahmi was called in by the police to record his statement on a poster uploaded on Facebook and Twitter regarding Perak menteri besar Saarani Mohamad.

In April, he was probed under Section 504 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Act for two graphic works.

Prior to that, he was arrested under the Sedition Act after creating a Spotify playlist that allegedly mocked the Raja Permaisuri Agong over a comment she made on her Instagram account. He was released after a day in remand.
