More groups join in drive to help those in need of food and assistance.

PETALING JAYA:
The “#BenderaPutih” (white flag) campaign is a community initiative to help those in desperate need of food and assistance in light of the worsening Covid-19 health and economic crisis.

The campaign encourages those who are struggling financially to reach out for help without fear or shame by displaying a white flag in front of their home as a sign that they need assistance.

Latest additions to the list:

1) Ampang Community-Powered Food Bank

Those living in Ampang are encouraged to collect free food items at Jalan Kerja Ayer Lama, Ampang.

2) The Rack Boutique Cafe

The cafe at Selayang, Selangor, provides free meals to residents, who are encouraged to go there between noon and 10pm.
