
PETALING JAYA: The percentage of the population that is fully vaccinated in the country has surpassed 15% with another 446,052 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine administered yesterday, bringing the total number of doses given out to 15,517,866.
This was revealed in a tweet by health minister Dr Adham Baba this morning.
He said that 282,980 of the doses given yesterday were to people getting their first dose, and 163,072 to recipients of the second dose.
“This brings the number of individuals who have completed both doses of the vaccine to 4,932,981, which is 15.1% of the country’s population,” he said.
Labuan remained the state with the highest percentage of adults being fully vaccinated at 68%, followed by Sarawak (49.4%), Perlis (36.5%), Klang Valley (22.7%) and Negeri Sembilan (21.8%).
