With Covid-19 cases now hitting five digits, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has stressed that vaccinations needed to be ramped up to bring down the number of cases that could become more serious, thus helping to reduce congestion in hospitals.

Coordinating minister for the vaccine rollout Khairy Jamaluddin had said previously he planned to get 80% of the country’s adults vaccinated by the end of this year.
