
However, there is no sign of a tumour recurrence, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a brief statement.

On the advice of doctors, Muhyiddin will remain in hospital where he is being treated with antibiotics intravenously, his office said.
Muhyiddin is expected to be discharged “in the next couple of days”, it added.
“The prime minister thanks those who prayed for his health.”
On Wednesday, it was reported that Muhyiddin was hospitalised after suffering from diarrhoea.
Muhyiddin was diagnosed with Stage 1 pancreatic cancer in 2018. He underwent an operation to remove the cancer and also underwent chemotherapy.
Last year, his office said that there was no evidence the disease had recurred when denying a report that Muhyiddin had breached self-quarantine rules by travelling abroad to seek treatment for cancer.
