Hunt for 3 who crawled out of EMCO barbed wire

Police say two of the suspects have criminal records for robbery, burglary and drugs.

Police are on the lookout for three men who escaped through a barbed wire perimeter to escape an EMCO area in Kampung Pasir, Kuala Lumpur.

This followed a police report lodged today over a two-minute viral video showing the men escaping the Pantai Ria flats in Pantai Dalam.

In a statement, Brickfields police chief Anuar Omar said efforts to track the individuals down were in full effect.

Police identified one suspect as a 34-year-old man with six criminal cases that include various drug offences, robbery and theft.

The other is a 46-year-old man with nine criminal cases that include burglary and various drug offences.

The third suspect has yet to be identified.

Information on the case can be channeled to the Brickfields police hotline at 03-2297-9222, the Kuala Lumpur police hotline at 03-2115-9999 or the nearest police station, he added.

The EMCO at the Pantai Ria flats is scheduled to end on July 14.
