
The campaign, which went viral several days ago on social media, encourages those who are struggling financially to reach out for help without fear or shame by displaying a white flag in front of their home as a sign that they need immediate assistance.
FMT compiled a list of individuals and organisations helping those in need.
Here are some additions to the list:
1. Econsave
The supermarket chain is encouraging the public to send them a private message on their Facebook page (EconsaveMY) if they know of people who have raised white flags.
Details such as the address and a photo of the white flag at the home should be included with the message.
However, it made no mention of the assistance provided.

2. Lions Care Relief Packet
A hunger relief project by the Lions Club of KL Agape Star and Ling & Theng Book.
The food packet assistance aims to assist individuals or families undergoing food shortages due to the pandemic.
They can be reached via WhatsApp at 012-2198180.

3. Syarikat Tuah Bersaudara
A food bank initiative by a local seafood wholesaler, offering perishable food such as fish, chicken and vegetables.
Individuals may come to its premises in Shah Alam to collect food items starting July 1 from 8am to 3pm.

4. Puteri Nuraina Balqis
She provides weekly food assistance to B40 individuals and families who live in Kamunting, Pokok Assam, and Taiping in Perak.
The food package includes rice, cooking oil, tea, flour, instant noodles, among others.

5. Melaka Food Bank
Kafe & Butik Cherry provides food items such as canned food and baby formula and essential items such as diapers to those in Melaka.
