KTM services delayed after minor derailment near UKM

Shuttle buses to fetch KTM Komuter passengers between Kajang and Bangi.

A minor derailment has disrupted KTM Komuter and ETS services.
KUALA LUMPUR:
A commuter train carrying 70 passengers was involved in a minor derailment incident near Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia this afternoon, disrupting KTM Komuter and ETS services.

No casualties were reported in the derailment, when the wheels of the last coach and the second-last coach of the train had deviated from the tracks, causing the Komuter and Electric Train Service routes to be blocked.

The Komuter service from Sungai Gadut-Pulau Sebang will end at Bangi, while trains from Batu Caves will stop at Kajang. Shuttle buses will ferry passengers between Kajang and Bangi for them to continue their journeys.

The ETS train service will end at Batang Benar and passengers will be transferred by bus to KL Sentral.
