
PETALING JAYA: The Sarawak government has extended the conditional movement control order (CMCO) in the state from tomorrow to March 1.
“A CMCO will be in force across the whole of Sarawak from 12.01am on Feb 15 until 11.59pm on March 1,” said the Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement.
“Standard operating procedures can be found on the National Security Council’s website.”
The SDMC said there were 152 new Covid-19 cases in the state today.
The majority of them were in Sibu (45), which has been under MCO since Jan 16.
Only 12 of the state’s 40 districts are green zones, with 11 red, two orange and 15 yellow.
Overall, the state has recorded 6,425 cases and 58 Covid-19-related deaths.
