
A health ministry infographic released today also shows that only Langkawi (Kedah), Hulu Terengganu (Terengganu), and Jerantut (Pahang), are still green zones in the peninsula with no active cases.
Across the South China Sea, only 22 districts in Sarawak remain green with even the state’s capital city, Kuching, now a red zone.
The district of Sibu in Sarawak has become a red zone, as have Bachok, Gua Musang and Machang in Kelantan, Kuantan (Pahang) and Baling (Kedah).
In total, there are 72 red zone districts nationwide with more than 40 active cases.
The worst-hit district is Klang which has 4,403 active cases, followed by Hulu Langat (1,971), Johor Bahru (1,804), and Muar (1,606).

As of yesterday, there were 27,332 active cases nationwide.
To date, a total of 135,992 infections and 551 fatalities have been recorded.
“Reduce unnecessary travel. The Covid-19 virus is in the community,” the health ministry said in an infographic posted on Facebook.
