Its chief Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak said all political parties should be “more mature” and open towards working together, following Ahmad Faizal Azumu’s resignation after he was ousted as Perak menteri besar through a vote of confidence in the state assembly last Friday.
“Perak PKR invites all politicians to prioritise unity for the welfare of the people. Any efforts to bring upon peace is important during this time, so that the people’s interests are not neglected.
“Let’s not ignore our responsibilities as leaders just because we misunderstand each other,” he said in a statement.
Farhash, along with Perak DAP chief Nga Kor Ming and state Amanah leader Asmuni Awi were granted an audience with Perak ruler, Sultan Nazrin Shah, yesterday.
Following their meeting with the Sultan, all leaders had told reporters that Pakatan Harapan (PH) had not submitted any names for the menteri besar post.
