PETALING JAYA:
A restaurant in Plaza Batai, Damansara Heights, has closed temporarily after a Covid-19 case was detected involving the business.

Ekkamai Thai Kitchen said all of its staff will be tested for the virus and quarantined, and also urged those who have visited the restaurant in the past few weeks to consider getting screened and to monitor their condition.

“We have provided our registered MySejahtera number to the health ministry so that all who have dined with us for the past one to two weeks will be contacted by them.

“Our premise will go through full sanitisation and we will only reopen after we can confirm that everything is in order,” it said in a Facebook post.

The restaurant did not specifically say whether it was a staff member or a customer that tested positive.

The Klang Valley recorded 165 Covid-19 cases yesterday, with 138 detected in Selangor, 22 in Kuala Lumpur and five in Putrajaya.
