
According to the Order Paper, the topics will be raised during the Minister’s Question Time beginning at 10am.
Wong Shu Qi (PH-Kluang) will ask the prime minister to state the rationale for the implementation of CMCO in the seven states.
Dr Kelvin Yii (PH-Bandar Kuching) will also ask the education minister why schools have been closed nationwide, including those located in Covid-19 green zones, the postponement of public examinations, and plans to help students without internet facilities.
Mohd Fasiah Mohd Fakeh (PPBM-Sabak Bernam) wants the health minister to disclose the number of Covid-19 clusters, which of them are still active, and the extent to which they affect the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
Parliament has decided that the Minister’s Question Time only requires MPs to read the questions, and the minister will answer in writing the same day. Both the questions and answers will be published in the portal of the Parliament.
During the oral question-and-answer session, Ahmad Nazlan Idris (BN-Jerantut) will seek an explanation from the finance minister on the government’s plans following the recovery movement control order to assist those who have lost their sources of income following the pandemic.
The debate on the Supply Bill 2021 pertaining to the 2021 budget will continue after that.
The Dewan Rakyat sitting will be for only four hours from 10am to 2pm from Monday to Thursday, with a maximum of 80 MPs – 41 from the government parties and 39 from the opposition and independents – allowed in the hall at any one time.
The current meeting will continue until Dec 15.
