7 subdistricts in Selangor classified as red zones

A total of 5,054 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Selangor, with 26 deaths.

All subdistricts in Sabak Bernam, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Selangor and Gombak remained as green zones.
PETALING JAYA:
Seven subdistricts in Selangor have been classified as red zones, according to the health ministry’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre and the Selangor Health Department.

An area is classified as a red zone when it reports more than 40 active cases.

The Kajang (Hulu Langat) red zone subdistrict recorded the highest number of active cases at 255, after seeing 26 patients today.

The other red zones in Selangor are Labu (142), Damansara (125), Petaling (94), Sungai Buloh (134), Klang (131) and Tanjung 12 (89).

Subdistricts in Sabak Bernam, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Selangor and Gombak remain as green zones.

To date, a total of 5,054 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Selangor, with 26 deaths. A total of 3,788 people have recovered while 1,240 remain as active cases.
