
The case is that of a staff member of the Nike outlet on the first floor who has a travel history, Sunway Pyramid management said in a statement.
It said the case was an isolated one and had been attended to immediately upon identification, together with the affected tenant, in full compliance with the guidelines provided by the health ministry.
“The health ministry has also reached out to those who have had close contact with the affected, and have been ordered to do screening and self-quarantine.
The case is well managed and under control,” the mall said.
It said deep cleaning, disinfection and sanitisation work was conducted throughout the premises and the frequency of sanitisation work every day would be increased.
Sunway Pyramid mall is located in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, near the Sunway Lagoon theme park.
