In a statement today, he said it was unfortunate that there were still people who were standing in the way of Malay unity.
“These are the enemies under the blanket who are the agents to divide the Malays. They do not care about the voices of the people who are already sick of divisiveness in the community.”
Wan Saiful said such enemies were becoming increasingly active in their efforts to curb Malay unity or “Kesatuan Ummah”, adding that these people were actively spreading lies even about Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
“Such actions go against the code of alliance, and they have gone overboard,” he said, without naming anyone or any party.
“Perikatan Nasional Sabah formed on Sept 9 is a manifestation of Bersatu’s (PPBM) commitment towards unity that has long been dreamed of by the rakyat. It started in Sabah, which is rich with diversity.”
He urged the party leaders of PPBM allies to take a tougher stand against those attempting to divide them.
“Don’t give space to these hidden enemies who have bad agendas and do not wish for Malay unity,” he said.
