Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said 32 were remanded and the rest fined.
He said the task force set up to monitor SOPs carried out more than 60,000 checks yesterday at supermarkets, restaurants, hawker centres, factories, banks and government offices.
Police also mounted 63 roadblocks nationwide and detained two foreigners for flouting immigration laws. They inspected 20,178 vehicles.

Ismail said enforcement officers were also keeping a close watch on the country’s borders.
Yesterday, 7,175 individuals flew into Malaysia and were placed at 30 hotels and other government institutions nationwide for mandatory quarantine. Twenty were tested positive for Covid-19.
Those returning had flown in from Thailand, the Philippines, India, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Turkey, South Korea, Iran, Nepal, Bangladesh and China.
Ismail said checks were also carried out at 21 construction sites and all were found to be following the SOPs.
Those who fail to wear face masks may end up with a RM1,000 fine.
