Double-digit Covid-19 active cases in KL again

Kuala Lumpur recorded double-digit Covid-19 active cases again after three new local cases were reported today.

A health ministry infographic today showed there are now 11 active local cases. Kuala Lumpur had been recording single-digit active cases since July 4.

The other states with double-digit cases are Negeri Sembilan (11), Selangor (10) and Sabah (10).

Meanwhile, Sarawak is no longer a green state after reporting two new local cases today in Kuching.

The other green states with no active cases are Perak, Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Pahang, Melaka, Terengganu and Kelantan

To date, a total of 8,696 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the country.

A total of 8,511 patients have recovered and 64 are still being treated.

The death toll remains unchanged at 121.
