
Its operations at the revenue service centres and urban transformation centres will remain closed.
In a statement, LHDN also said its e-filing and Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) counters would remain closed as these can be processed online.
“In line with efforts to break the chain of infection, online customer service will be prioritised,” it said.
LHDN however appealed to the public to only visit its branches only if it is really necessary, adding that tax-related issues could be managed by phone, email or online.
On April 3, LHDN resumed operations of its stamp duty counters at 34 of its branches.
It has extended the deadline for individuals filing their tax returns online to May 15.
However, the extension until mid-May is only applicable for BE forms via e-filing.
