PETALING JAYA: The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has suspended monthly repayments until June 30.
In a statement, PTPTN said this was due to the Covid-19 crisis which was causing an impact of people’s livelihood.
It said the three-month suspension beginning today would benefit about 1.5 million borrowers and involve up to RM375 million in total.
PTPTN said borrowers should call its careline at 03-2193 3000 from 9am to 5pm during weekdays or visit its website at www.ptptn.gov.my for further information.
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin had said the country is on a movement control order until March 31 to curb the spread of Covid-19.
