KUALA LUMPUR:
Former United States president Barack Obama is in town, his third visit to Malaysia since 2014.

He is attending the Obama Foundation’s inaugural Leaders: Asia-Pacific gathering, where he will speak to some 200 emerging leaders from the region.

Obama last visited Malaysia in Nov 2015 for the 27th Asean Summit.

Earlier this week, Obama’s wife Michelle and Hollywood star Julia Roberts spoke at plenary sessions for the programme.

Obama today spoke at a plenary discussion titled, “How the Asia-Pacific Shaped Us”.

The session is part of the The Leaders programme, which would also have skill-building workshops, leadership development training, and opportunities for connection among leaders across sectors and geographies.
