Wan Hisham Wan Salleh, from the Kuala Terengganu Umno division, said certain parties were also becoming bolder in making statements as they knew they were protected, adding that they were preparing to “take over power”.
“Today, if they want to go to war with weapons, it would be easier to face.
“But the war today is a proxy war, where communists have entered political parties, government agencies and into the government.
“How are we going to face an enemy we cannot see? That’s why we see certain things happening in our country.

“We see the ashes of Chin Peng being brought back, the wrong Malaysian flag being used at official functions, a gathering of former communists, cases of LGBT and public consumption of alcoholic drinks.
“All these are all planned and by design,” he said at the Umno general assembly at the Putra World Trade Center here today.
Hisham said this “war” must be fought by all, not just Umno or Muslims, as communism is principally against religion.
“We must fight against the elements of communism that have seeped into government agencies.”
