
Speaking to reporters after an event here today, he said he was aware of crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim’s visit to the wards and had scheduled a meeting with the palace.
“In fact, I am required to see him tomorrow, and I’ll share with him our efforts and hiccoughs from the previous administration and the current, and what actions we have taken and how much we have spent,” he said.
The ICU ward at HSA were damaged on Oct 26, 2016 when a fire broke out on the second floor of the hospital.
Tunku Ismail, who said he had been following the developments of the case, said he visited the hospital yesterday and was disappointed to see that the wards had not improved.
“Nothing has changed since three years ago,” he said in a post on his Facebook page.
