Perak police chief Razarudin Husain said two others had given their statements since Friday.
He said the investigation was being conducted by Bukit Aman, whose officers had visited the spots where the ashes were scattered.
“They were the witnesses involved in receiving the ashes and scattering them at several places at the foot of the Titiwangsa Range,’’ he told reporters after witnessing the handing over of duties of the Manjung district police chief at the district police headquarters here today.
Former Selangor Internal Security and Public Order head Nor Omar Sappi, 44, is the new Manjung district police chief, replacing Muhamad Hanif Othman, who has been transferred to the Pahang contingent.
