The Prime Minister's Office says the 94-year-old is back to work in his office.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Prime Minister’s Office has denied a report that Dr Mahathir Mohamad was rushed to get medical treatment for a nose-bleed.

A spokesman said Mahathir only suffered a minor nose-bleed.

“He is working as usual. Reports that he was rushed to obtain medical treatment are not true.”

Earlier, The Malaysian Insight reported that Mahathir had to be rushed for treatment midway during a press conference.

Mahathir, who was attending the International Palm Oil Congress and Exhibition 2019 (Pipoc), was seen wiping his nose with a handkerchief as he answered questions from reporters.
