KOTA KINABALU: PPBM deputy president Mukhriz Mahathir has welcomed Sipitang MP Yamani Hafez Musa’s entry into the party.
Mukhriz said Yamani’s entry has delivered another parliamentary seat for Pakatan Harapan (PH) and as such has strengthened the ruling coalition.
“It will also help PH defend the government’s policies and during debates in Parliament, so this is something good for us,” he told reporters at a dialogue session last night.
Yesterday, Yamani, who is the eldest son of former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman received his PPBM membership card from party chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
