KOTA KINABALU: Warisan president Shafie Apdal says he sees nothing wrong for any party in Sabah to strengthen its base, after PPBM in the state said it wanted to play a more dominant role.

Shafie said it was alright for a party to aspire to be strong as long as there was cooperation.

“There is nothing wrong if a party in Sabah aims to be strong,” the Sabah chief minister said.

Sabah PPBM chief Hajiji Noor said the party was focusing on becoming a dominant party as the people of Sabah have begun to show support for PPBM.
