
KUALA LUMPUR: Former Road Transport Department (JPJ) director-general Nadzri Siron, 60, died of leukemia at Ampang Hospital here last night.
Nadzri was diagnosed in February and had been on chemotherapy at the hospital since July 18, his second child Shahirah said.
Nadzri was buried at the USJ2 Cemetery in Subang Jaya, Selangor, last night.
He leaves his wife Fatimah Shariff and four children.
Nadzri was appointed JPJ director-general in 2016 and retired from civil service in March. His last post was as home ministry deputy secretary-general.
