Othman, who is a former general manager of Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS), replaces Ab Ghani Mohd Ali who is retiring after serving the agency for 37 years.
Felda Chairman Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor said Othman has extensive experience is both the corporate and government sector.
He said Felda’s board of directors felt that Othman had the skills and ability to lead the group to overcome current challenges and develop the agency to become a progressive land scheme.
Megat Zaharuddin described Othman’s appointment as timely as Felda had gone through several rebranding exercises.
